The Generalist track has the best topics for organizations to help them get started correctly in their ITSM journey! If you're new to ITSM, or if your ITSM program seems to be “stuck,” or if you simply want to learn more from very experienced ITSM practitioner professionals, then this is the track for you.
The sessions in this track will take the mystery out of service management: where to begin, what to look for, how to justify and organize, how to define roles and responsibilities, how to set up core processes, what/how to measure to get the results required for a successful implementation, and more!
I selected sessions that are realistic and provide practical guidance from seasoned professionals—come learn from their experiences! But if you’re still asking yourself, “Why should I attend the sessions in The Generalist track?” …
#1: Why CSI?: Start things off with the end in mind! Let’s start with the why!
#2: How To Start an Effective ITSM Program: Setting up an effective ITSM program takes time—it’s often more work on top of your day job, and it’s just plain hard.
