itSMF USA, a nonprofit membership organization dedicated to the advancement of service management good practices by professional and academic practitioners, researchers, and leaders, together with HDI, a global association for IT service and technical support professionals and the premier certification body for the services support industry, are collaborating to produce FUSION 12.
Both organizations previously hosted separate service management conferences during the fall. Under this new model, customers will realize unprecedented choice and flexibility in one larger, more comprehensive educational venue, thus enabling the FUSION conference to stake its claim as the premiere global service management conference.
About itSMF USA
itSMF USA is the United States chapter of the itSMF international organization, which has over forty chapters. Based on the ITIL framework developed in the 1980s, IT service management has expanded to support and promote other service management frameworks, such as ISO 20000, COBIT, BS 17799, PRINCE2, Six Sigma, and many others. A member-driven organization, itSMF USA is organized into local interest groups (LIGs) and special interest groups (SIGs) located in over forty-three major metropolitan areas, with many others being started.
