The sessions in the People, Culture, and Value track speak to the heart of what we do: the people, our culture, and what we value as an organization. We often overlook the people factor in our changes, initiatives, and projects, which can lead to mistakes and create barriers to our success. Why? Because the people element is often the hardest part of implementing any change or new program.
There are so many exciting trends, tools, techniques, and strategies related to people, culture, and value that companies are implementing all around the world. Our goal is to take a take a look at people, culture, and value with a wide lens. This track is focused on uncovering and discovering what’s working and what’s not working for organizations in the areas of culture building, transforming teams, influencing through communication, working across generations, managing using different perspectives, implementing ITIL on a small scale with a focus on the people and roles, and using story and narration to motivate teams.
We’ve selected speakers that have implemented strategies and managed teams by actually using the techniques they will discuss in their sessions. They’re passionate about sharing what they’ve learned and what’s been the most successful in their environments. Our speakers represent range of industries, including higher education, government, retail, utilities, consulting, and sports management. (Skip Weisman, one of our esteemed speakers, worked in professional baseball—how’s that for diversity?)
If you want to add to your skillset in any of these key areas, you’ve come to the right track. I look forward seeing you in a session and joining you as we learn how to impact the heart of an organization through, people, culture, and values.
